Armour

Mark VII Aquila: Asthe final stages of the Heresy played out, Mk7 armour started to be deployed. It was acontinuation of the technology of Mk6 suits, with many similarities, and one of its great advantages was that parts were readily interchangeable between the two. A Mk6 helmet, for example, would fit straight onto a Mk7 suit, with no need for any re-engineering by the Techmarines and Artificers. The most obvious change was the new chest plate that gave the suit its commons name of “Aquila,” “Imperator”, or “Eagle” armour.
